Glitter Filled Text
Open a new image 100x100. Flood
fill with a favorite color.
Hit Shift+D twice to duplicate
the image 2 times. Minimize the 2 copies and make your original
image active. Go to Adjust>Add/Remove Noise>Add Noise/Gaussian
80, monochrome checked. Next, take a sparkle tube and randomly
add some sparkles to the image. It should look something like
this
|
|
Minimize and pull up one of the
duplicates. Add noise again, but this time change it from 80 to
90. Add some more sparkles in different places.
Minimize and pull up the last
image. Add noise at 100 this time and add sparkles. You know
should have 3 glitter sparkle fills. Minimize them all, we'll
be using them in a bit.
Next, open a new image
400x200. Activate your text tool and set your foreground to the
same color you used for the glitter fill. Background null.
Stroke width 3. Using a font of choice, type out your text.
Objects>Align>Center in Canvas. Convert to raster.
|
Go to Effects>3D Effects>Inner Bevel
|
Select your magic wand, with
Tolerance and Feather set to 0, hold down the Shift key and
click inside each letter. Go to Selections>Modify>Expand>1.
Add a new raster layer and move
it below the text layer. Select our Flood Fill tool, go to
patterns, and choose your first glitter fill. Flood fill your
selection. Do not deselect.
|
|
Add another raster layer and
flood fill with the 2nd glitter fill that you made. Then, add
one more raster layer and fill with the 3rd glitter fill.
Deselect. You should now have a total of 4 layers.
