Animating a Globe

1.  Open your globe and Shift+D to duplicate.  Close original.  Using your magic wand Tolerance and Feather bot set to 0, click the space outside of your globe.  Go to Selections>Modify>Expand>1.

2.  Find an image you'd like to have inside your globe then copy and paste as a new layer.  Move this layer beneath your globe layer.  Position it in the globe how you want then hit delete.

3.  You can now add a base for your globe.  Increase your canvas size to give you more working room.  Then paste your base on as a new layer and position it.

4.  Now to start the animation.  I'm going to use butterflies to animate my globe, but you can choose whatever suites your image best.  Add a new raster layer between your image layer and your globe layer.  Place your "butterflies" randomly throughout the layer.  Then, click on the globe layer, click on the space around the globe.  Got to Selections>Modify>Expand>1.  Go back to your butterfly layer and hit delete.  Deselect

5.  Repeat step 4 another 2 times putting the butterflies in different places each time.  You should have a total of 3 butterfly layers.

6.  Now, hide the top 2 butterflies layers.  Go to Edit>Copy Merged.  Open Animation Shop and Paste as a New Animation.  Go back to PSP, hide the bottom butterfly layer and unhide the middle one.  Edit>Copy Merged and go to AS pasting after current frame.  One more time, go back to PSP, hide the middle butterfly layer and unhide the top one.  Edit>Copy Merged and go to AS pasting after current image.

7.  In AS, Select All.  Right click and change Frame Properties to 25.  View your animation and save.

Hope you all have fun with it!
