Animating Butterfly Wings
1. Select a butterfly tube and open
in PSP. You can find a tube
here. Shift+D to duplicate and close the
original.
2. In the layer palette right click
on your butterfly and duplicate it 3 times for a
total of 4 butterfly layers.

3. Select your Pick tool. In some
versions of PSP it is also referred to as the
Deformation tool.

4. Hide your top 3 layers and have layer 1
active. You now want to grab the nodes in the
center of the right side then drag in toward the
center of the butterfly a little bit. Do the same
with the left side. I moved each side in about the
length of 1 of the background squares on each side.

5. Hide layer 1. Leave layer 2 as it is and unhide
layer 3. Using the pick/deformation tool again move
the wings in a little further. I went in 2 squares
on each side this time.

6. Hide layer 3 and unhide layer 4. Do the same
thing, but pull the wings much further in. (5
squares).

7. Unhide all layers and Save AS PSPimage/PSP
Animation Shop (depending on your version). Go to
AS and open your butterfly there. Select all.
Right click and go to Frame Properties. Set between
15 and 20. When you preview it you should see
something like this.

When you are satisfied save your animation.
Hope you all enjoy!
