Lesson #30 - Turning Gold into Silver

Gold accents and embellishments are very easy to find but have you ever looked for silver ones?  They aren't as easy to come by.  This trick will turn anything in gold to silver!

 

             

 Open your Gold Image

To use these images right click and "Save Image As"

 

Go to Adjust/Hue and Saturation/Colorize

 

Hue = 0

Saturation = 0

 

 

Go to Adjust/Brightness & Contrast

 

Brightness = 20

Contrast = 30

 

 

This method can be applied to other textures and patterns

Use these two gold patterns to try yourself.

 

Change Silver to Gold, go to Adjust / Hue and Saturation / Colorize

 

Hue = 35

Saturation = 135

 

Go to Adjust/Brightness & Contrast

 

Brightness = 0

Contrast = 0
