Merging Two Graphics

 

Here you will find two graphics one is a frame, the other a flowerpot with butterflies we are going to merge these two images.  First you need to open both of these images in PSP

and your screen should look like this:

 

We are now going to copy the Flowerpot image so click on Edit/Copy or Control C,

whichever you prefer.  Then you want to click into the box where the flowerpot is going.

Once you do that go to Edit/Paste/Paste as a New Selection  or Control E  moving your

graphic to the position in the box that you like. You image should look something like

 

 

Now we can put a drop shadow under it to make it pop out a bit and your

new graphic should be ready to merge.  Your image should be merged at this

point, if not (looking at the Layer Palette should only show one layer) then you

can merge them by clicking on Layers/Merge/Merge All(Visible).  You now have

what we call a blank.  Congratulations!
