I can't Find my Toolbars or Palettes!

This happens to all of us, somehow we loose our toolbars or palettes and just can't seem to figure how to get them back.

There are several things we need to look at.

First are you menus showing? You know the top menu that says File - Edit - View etc. etc. etc. is that showing? If not then you probably accidentally hit the Full Screen Edit button, to get the menu back click on the Shift button and the A button at the same time. The Menus will return.

If it is your palettes that are missing then go to View / Palettes then click on the Palettes that you want, I suggest at least having the Materials, Layers and Tool Option Palettes available.

You can also use the Shortcut buttons to toggle them on and off. The Layer Palette for example is F8. So to return the Layer Palette toggle it off with the F8 key.

It works the same way with your Toolbars, go to View / Toolbars and chose the ones you want to show.
